This Privacy Policy explains how CarAdvisor Pro ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.

1. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

For iOS users, CarAdvisor Pro requests permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before collecting data used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

• You can choose “Allow” or “Ask App Not to Track” when prompted
• You can change your choice at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• If tracking is denied, only non-personalized advertisements will be shown

2. GDPR Compliance (EU/EEA Users)

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent for personalized advertising when required. If applicable, a consent dialog will be shown when you first use the app.

3. Information We Collect

We do not directly collect or store personal information on our own servers. However, we use third-party services that may collect information as described below.

4. Google AdMob

CarAdvisor Pro displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Depending on your consent choices and location, AdMob may collect and process:

• Device information (model, operating system version)
• IP address and approximate location
• Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
• App usage data and performance metrics

The information collected by AdMob is used solely to:

• Display relevant advertisements to support our free app

• With Google AdMob for advertising purposes

7. Children’s Privacy

CarAdvisor Pro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Advertising is served in compliance with applicable child protection laws, including COPPA.

Opt-out of Personalized Advertising

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Disable for CarAdvisor Pro
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Turn off Personalized Ads
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Reset Advertising Identifier

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Reset Advertising Identifier
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID

Data Deletion

Since we do not store personal data on our servers, uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. For data collected by Google, you may use Google’s privacy controls: https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy

9. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. International Data Transfers

Information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws. By using the app, you consent to such transfers.
